We welcome book or program suggestions. Your input and ideas are important to us. Your continued support and enthusiasm makes the Waterford Library a special place.
ITDRC GRANT Our entire WiFi system was updated in 2019 thanks to a grant from projectConnect (ITDRC) Information Technology Disaster Resource Center to install upgraded Community WiFi. An entirely new router, modem, 1000 GB WiFi connector, and outdoor satellite extender unit were installed to consolidate the system and all laptops were reconnected to the printer, assuring wireless connection for individual patron devices. The new system also connects into the NetworkMaineUniFi to collect user statistics. Hopefully, these efforts will resolve our long standing issues. We are most grateful for the assistance of all these cooperating organizations.

COMMUNITY GARDEN UPDATE
Last year a handful of people committed to developing a new Community Garden at the Waterford World's Fairgrounds. They first met to design the space. Once again there is plenty to do. We'd love your involvement at any level. This garden will help us to connect with each other and this land we call home in addition to growing some produce and providing a great space to learn together.

The leaves have fallen, the docks are in, and the temperature has finally dropped. This time of year we all slow down a bit to recharge gears and reflect. We have so much to be grateful for.
There was a HUGE turn out for Waterford Trunk or Treat Halloween at the WWF Fairgounds. Many thanks to all the wonderful "trunkers" and volunteers. We loved the Photo Booth, Free Kids Books, Cookies, Cider, Soup and Bread and all the COSTUMES and Candy!
.
Throughout the Holiday Season there are opportunities for Community sharing and to Give Back. We also support Waterford Santa and welcome you to apply for assistance, or help buy gifts for others.
