First and foremost, we are still your local library. We know you miss the books,
but safely decontaminating them is complicated. We have an at risk population.
We are not pandemic specialists. Even with the best guidance, we are all still learning.
So, we are cautiously beginning curbside distribution on a limited basis.
Will update with any future changes.
Here is how it works:
Choose your books. Newest books are now posted at the bottom of this page.
Or, Go to waterfordmainelibrary.org
Our entire collection of books, DVD’s, Audio CD’s are all searchable on our website.
On the Home Page click the RED BAR Waterford Library Online Catalog. It will bring you to: opac.libraryworld.com. Type in Waterford Library and then sign in. (no password needed.)
This site lists EVERY item in our library.
Helpful hints: ITEM LIST and SHELF offer different views of options.
For Books: Type in author or title to make your selection - then add to Clipboard.
For media: Type in DVD, JDVD, or CDAudio for over 900 titles, then Sort by: Newest First.
Add to your clipboard.
Newest books are now posted at the bottom of this page.
Recent 2020 and 2019 additions posted on the bottom of the Book Club page.
Once finished, cut and paste list and email back to email@example.com
Or, just pick some book titles and email your requests. We'll get them ready for you.
Will send email confirmation when ready for Wednesday or Saturday pickup.
For now, Curbside Distribution will ONLY be Wednesday’s from 6 - 7 pm and
Saturday’s between 11am and noon and ONLY for those who have called ahead.
Book reservations accepted until 6 pm Tues. and 6 pm Fri. to allow time for processing.
Books will be prepackaged with your name, and given out via a socially distanced volunteer.
Currently, only accepting returns during these two hours.
All books must be in a bag marked on the outside with your name and date of return.
All returns will be quarantined and decontaminated before going back into circulation.
Please let us know if you need home delivery, or alternate arrangements.

Where: Back Lawn of the Waterford Library
We could all benefit from some in-person group energy while staying safe. All are welcome!
The Waterford Library is graciously sharing their outdoor space with us for classes. They have asked us to follow a couple of rules and we thank you in-advance for doing so.
1. Please park on either side of the road in front of the right-hand side of the building /property (side closest to town beach). The back left parking area of the building is only for the resident . The library also asks you to keep roadside parking at the left of the building available for library patrons.
2. Please access back lawn by walking on right side of the library past the granite benches.
Continue to make reservations online in advance so we know to expect you and so your attendance deducts from your class pass.
For summer folks, if you are purchasing a drop-in, please make payment and reservation online. We appreciate this, so we can contact you if inclement weather or need to adjust class offering. We will accept payment in-person, but would like to keep these transactions to a minimum.
All classes will continue to be available through Zoom in addition to being outdoors. Should we have inclement weather (rain, oppressively hot) the class will be through Zoom ONLY.
Bring your own mat or towel and water. Participants will be asked to spread out across the lawn to accommodate for the need to social distance ourselves. There will not be any shared equipment or props during classes.
Functional Fitness Classes
In addition, please bring a set of light weights (2-3lbs) if you have them. If you do not have your own, there are studio sets to borrow. The studio weights will be cleaned before and after each use with cleaner that meets the CDC guidelines.
Flow Yoga Classes
The yoga classes will be accessible to everyone without props being necessary. If you'd like to bring your own props, feel free.
A BIG THANK YOU to the Waterford Library for sharing this beautiful outdoor setting with us!
